Appearance

A wiry victorian man, 5’10, very short brown hair, hazel eyes and a smooth complexion. Moves with an apparently ungainly gait and casts his gaze about with an uninterested air.

He usually travels in a fine cloak, walking stick and top hat, and is known to wield an estoc.

Character

Alias has grave concerns about the threat other, more powerful Immortals present to him, given the nature of his power. He seeks to minimise this threat, and preserve much of his magic as secrets. Sometimes, his conscience brings him into conflict with this concern, however. He has a typically Victorian sense of obligation to mortals, although he is not as patronising as the average man of his times.

He is resourceful, ingenious, and reticent. It is hard to determine whether he plans well, or takes advantage of opportunities as they arise.

He reacts well and flexibly to situations directly in front of him, but he can sometimes be confused by the sheer amount of information available to him. Isolating valuable information from the welter of data that is available to him is his greatest weakness.

Strategically, he seems to move reactively, trusting to his ability to improvise a solution to any new problem, and he appears to have very little interest in politics.
