Special Abilities

  • Lightning bolt - Artemus's lightning bolt is multi-coloured and quite powerful. It tends to be used a lot on friend and foe alike - sometimes sacrifices must be made.
  • Stitches. Artemus can make a Stitch-In-Time that allows up to 9 spells to be 'loaded' and then released at the same time.
  • Cloak of Lamplight and Fog. Artemus is almost never seen without his trusty cloak which makes him very difficult to spot in cities.
  • Pain, rather than putting him off, seems to attract him.
  • Artemus provides an Embroidery service (for a nominal fee). He can make embroideries of up to 24pts of value.

Character

Artemus is generally viewed as being someone you don't want to turn your back on. It is not really his fault, but the result of his past acquaintance with the Lord of Shades. Not to mention his lovely agent Mrs Fang, who has been most unfairly cast in a bad light - the waiter should have been clearer in indicating the he was NOT hors d oeuvre's.

Truth be known, Artemus can at times be very helpful and decent, but at other times allows himself to get carried away with accumulating other people's things. He also seems to quite enjoy the company of spiders and perhaps this is the reason he comes across as being anti-social.

Edit

Agents

Mrs Fang - a giant spider with a particle accelerator strapped to her back....and a penchant for eating waiters and other virile, attractive young men.

Embroideries

Artemus's can offer the following embroideries:
  • increase spell damage
  • spell haste
  • spell penetration
  • cast penalty reduction
  • banding spell damage
  • spell precision (increase chance to hit with the spell - threads the eye of the needle)
  • hidden cast (obfuscates the casters casting so an astrologer etc can't figure out what spell is being cast)
  • spell focus (focuses an area of effect spell down to a smaller area and therefore a tougher spell - e.g. Ball effect (divide by 3) gets focussed into a Beam (divide by 2). Maximum force increase is the number of rank of the embroidery).
Immortals is a role-playing game developed and run by Jim Arona.
