Unable to determine a method of tracking down Shiro, we took the abandoned asian servant back to our house in Lomar. This took about 5 days of 'roughing' it in the tent. Once there, we got them set up to clean and generally maintain the place while we went to take a look at the towers and determine just how they were generating power from the sun.

Using all of our house-power combined, it was discovered that the towers we made from some sort of advanced polymer that had been combined with a demon's hand somehow. This allowed it to trap the sunlight and use it, producing black-sun points as a by-product.

For some reason, spending all of the house power stopped the towers from working. They worked before we put out house here, so I am unsure as to why they no longer work when the house is low on power.

Tiring of the prospect of a long-cold winter, and having mentioned Shiro's name repeatedly, we decided that we had best leave him be for now. Instead we decided to fix the square of 7 on the number plane. Firstly, we headed to Egypt to see Joachim's ex-master, a fellow cabalist.

He didn't know much, but Joachim made an agent of him and learnt a couple of Angel names in the bargain.

From there, we headed to a small island where a renowned alchemist lives. He fashioned a new hand of elemental bronze and gemstones for Bastion, and a new eye for Joachim.

After sorting ourselves out there (2 years and 2 days), we headed to numerous places to try to get to the square of 7 on the Number line. Bastion eventually managed it, as he is an Angel of the 7th station. Once there the horn was blown, thus restarting the Jubilee sequence. Eventually Bastion also managed to cleanse the tree using the quadratic-chalice.

Unfinished business

  • Shiro Ishii - evil immortal, uses mortals for expendable power, need to be dealt with. He is also connected to the 'godseed' plot. We need to find out what this is all about.

  • Wall somewhere (Joachim knows where this is) - blood wolves?

  • Populate Lomar city. Ward the crap out of our house there too.

  • Track down the Defiler of Flesh.
