Halos

Halos

Appearance

Halos often appears as a 6 foot tall man. He dresses well, and in the appropriate style. Unfortunately, there are differing accounts on his actual appearance. Or gender. Even race seems to be in dispute. When fighting she will usually appear as a large mantis like insect with vicious slashing claws. Stout-hearted men shudder at the mention of her sting.

Character

There is some disagreement that this entity is even fully human, now, if it ever was. As a result, it is hard to draw an accurate picture of this entity’s motives. It is considered by most to be fairly self serving, and seems to espouse an attitude of advancing its own cause, and damn the consequences.

Like a mantis, it strikes swiftly, preferring to do so from a position of strength surprise. Its fighting skills are extremely well developed, and while not overly aggressive, it will use force to achieve its ends, if it thinks it can win.

He distrusts his son, the Lord of the Wyld, and his grandson, the Keeper of the Cross, and in fact he has issued a bounty on them.

Halos is slow to give its trust to anyone, and once broken, it is rarely extended again. It enjoys being in control, and tends to keep entities that it doesn’t control at arms length. Possibly, it is a lonely entity. It seems, on the balance of the evidence to hand to be someone that can live quite happily without much social contact, however.

Plans tend to be slow and painstaking, their execution swift and brutal. When Halo goes to war, it is usually as a result of careful planning. It is not impulsive, although it is often sudden.
