Appearance
Quilp wears black patent leather armour . He wears this underneath a topcoat. On his head, he wears a top hat, and he carries a watch and chain. His face is hard to make out because of the hat, although he is known to cultivate a small dark beard on his chin.
He carries a curved bronze sword called Spite and wields it left-handedly. It has a hook on the reverse side. On his right hand he wears a heavy leather gauntlet.
