EditCharacter
Oberon holds a patronising regard for mortals. He believes that Immortals have a duty of protection to them. Some Immortals are pernicious to mortals, and they (the mortals) need to be protected from them (the pernicious Immortals).
Despite his powers, Oberon would rather grant an enemy mercy than death, seeking to reform evil rather than simply destroy it. In addition, reformed Immortals can be farmed for their resources, as part of the redemption process.
Oberon admires honour, but is not committed to it as an ideal.
Ruthlessness is his most defining characteristic. He will brook little interference with his plans.
He will keep his given word, but may find a legal way around the actual contract.
Oberon is a powerful and committed ally, and will go to great lengths to preserve his friends and his family should they be threatened. He is remorseless, however, if this confidence is betrayed, and he will prosecute treachery with an hideous revenge.
He is a careful and methodical planner.
