Immortals

Vanity - the Lady of Mirrors

Vanity

Vanity

Edit

Appearance

A willowy woman with long blonde hair. A golden monkey hides amongst her hair, but can occasionally be spotted by the alert. Her eyes are wide and blue as a summer sky.

She often wears a necklace made of crudely twisted chunks of gold. Seven large fire opals have been pressed into the gold. Around her waist, she has a silver chatelaine's purse, which contains a hand mirror. She is particularly fond of a long green dress made from velvet, apparently.

Base of Operation

Halle des Miroirs, Paris, Victoria

Edit

Secondary Titles

Unknown.

Edit

Transport

Vanty can teleport between known mirrors on the same plane.

Edit

Special Abilities

Vanity has access to a world that is a reflection of the realm she is currently on. There are variations in the reflection, and so nothing is quite as it seems.

Edit

Character

Vanity has a deep seated animosity for Jack O'Bedlam, and will often help anyone who is opposed to him, provided they are competent. She will not, however, release resources to immortals who are likely to be defeated by him. She will support her aunt, the Lady of the Abyss, as much as possible, without putting her own life at risk. She is loyal to her friends, Benfar and Judecca.

She is quiet and does not look for conflict, but will oppose evil when she sees it.

She gets on well with Serifan.

Edit

Agents

Jeanne d'Arles, a French maid who provides social defence, and Foxglove, a monkey. Both travel with her, wherever she goes.

Currently, Vanity is looking for a strapping footman, and an accredited coachman.

Immortals is a role-playing game developed and run by Jim Arona.
