Immortals

Fork of the Blood-Drinking Thorns

This large military fork is too big to be used by someone human sized. The wielder must be nine feet tall or taller to wield it effectively. If anyone other than a horned devil attempts to use it, thorns are driven into their hands. This will inflict a inflict a 4 point wound, with 7 points of penetration. Only gauntlet armour may be applied against it.

If it is used to strike an opponent, and it successfully inflicts damage, it will drink blood. This increases the wound by an additional 4 points. If the initial damage was 1 point, then it will be a 5 point wound. It can only do this once per week.

If it has drunk blood four times, it will hold the fourth wound in reserve. If the wielder should take a wound equal to or less than 4, then the fork will heal the wound. If the wielder is still in combat, the fork will not heal the wound initially. Instead, it will wait until it's wielder has suffered two wounds, and heal the most serious wound it can.

It is an intelligent weapon, and dislikes most things that aren't horned devils. It is, however, honourable, in its way, and will be true to this bargain of blood. If it is a speaking weapon, it appears to only speak to horned devils.
